Hybrid inverter for grid-interactive solar systems with integrated home battery, also known as Energy Storage Systems (ESS).

Connect up to 5kW of solar panels to the grid while charging a 48V battery bank (lead acid or Lithium-ion). The hybrid inverter is rated IP65, meaning it can be installed outside.

This intelligent hybrid inverter provides a full solution for energy consumers to maximise the use of self-generated solar energy (the inverter comes with an energy meter). The Sungrow SH5K+ can also be combined with the STB5K Backup Box  [INX-SG-ESB] which allows you to use your solar energy during a grid blackout (via a dedicated emergency circuit). This optional emergency Backup Box delivers a maximum of ~1250W.

A solar system with Sungrow SH5K+ inverter can be installed in two stages; start with a conventional grid connect system, and add a battery when it is convenient.
